We have confirmed that improper uses of our intellectual property rights were listed on a Chinese e-commerce site and the company’s website. These included unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted works, use of our registered trademark “DHT” in China, and inappropriate guidance regarding alternatives to the products manufactured by our subsidiary, Kyowa Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. These descriptions are neither authorized nor recommended by us.
Regarding this matter, we requested that the company cease these listings, and all targeted improper descriptions and contents have been completely removed from the e-commerce site and website.
We attach great importance to the proper protection of intellectual property rights, and we will continue to promote the proper use of our copyrights and trademarks from the standpoint of respect for intellectual property.
